# initializeChoice

## Overview

Creates the empty per-model container in `choices`, or in `filterChoices` for a filter, if it
does not exist yet.

## Signature

`initializeChoice(app, model, isFilter)`

### Parameters

| <span id="param-app">app</span> | `string` | yes | Django app label. |
| <span id="param-model">model</span> | `string` | yes | Model name. |
| <span id="param-isFilter">isFilter</span> | `boolean` | no | Whether to create the container in `filterChoices`. |
