# setChoices

## Overview

Stores a choice list for a model field without fetching it.

## Signature

`setChoices(app, model, field, choices)`

### Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| <span id="param-app">app</span> | `string` | yes | Django app label. |
| <span id="param-model">model</span> | `string` | yes | Model name. |
| <span id="param-field">field</span> | `string` | yes | Field name. |
| <span id="param-choices">choices</span> | `any` | yes | The choice list: a paginated response object with `{label, value}`     items in `results`. |
