# getTwoFactorAuthMethod

## Overview

Fetches the two-factor methods of the user who is signing in or reauthenticating.
Before rejecting with an `UnauthorizedError`, refetches the current user, so `authPendingFlow` names the flow
that the server now requires.

## Signature

`getTwoFactorAuthMethod()`

### Returns

`Promise`

An object whose `methods` lists the device methods, such as `totp`, `email`, or `sms`.
