# getPrefixedSlots

## Overview

Helper to get slot names with a specific prefix, excluding certain slots.

## Signature

`getPrefixedSlots(slots, prefix, retainFullName, exclude, keepEmptySuffix)`

### Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| <span id="param-slots">slots</span> | `object` | yes | The slots object |
| <span id="param-prefix">prefix</span> | `string` | yes | The prefix to filter slot names by. |
| <span id="param-retainFullName">retainFullName</span> | `boolean` | no | If true, the full slot name is returned without slicing the prefix. |
| <span id="param-exclude">exclude</span> | `string[]` | yes | List of slot names or suffixes to exclude. |
| <span id="param-keepEmptySuffix">keepEmptySuffix</span> | `boolean` | no | If true, empty suffixes are kept in the result. |

### Returns

`[string, string][]`

- An array of slot names and the slot name without the prefix.
 i.e. (outerName, innerName)
