# ImageField

## Overview

Image counterpart to :class:`FileField`.

Shares the ``{"name": ..., "url": ...}`` representation. Subclasses the file field rather than
``rest_framework.serializers.ImageField`` so it does not pull in Pillow; image content validation is
left to the model field and upload pipeline.
