# SectionOptions

## Overview

Resolved values for one feature section, readable as attributes or as a mapping.

## `is_declared` {#is_declared}

Return whether an author wrote ``name`` on this model or one of its bases.

A feature that must tell an explicit choice from its own default reads this. Everything else
should read the value, which already accounts for defaults and inheritance.
